Dear Phil:It is that time of the year to start thinking about the Fall and new skis.I would be most interested to hear your take on the difference if any between the new nordica enforcer and last years, nordica NRGY-100. I really liked the NRGy-100.Thanks.

Tell us what you like in a ski as a general rule, where you ski geographicallly, ability level, size, weight, etc... and we can direct you to the appropriate ski.
In a quick nutshell without giving much away, the new Enforcer seems to be universally liked by testers/demoers this past season. I'm on that train as well. The Nrgy seems more polarizing. I think both Phil (if I can go out on a limb and speak for him until he posts) and I like them, but others are a bit 'meh'. I have no idea why. Both are very nice skis. The Enforcer is heavier, and damper with the second sheet of metal which might give more confidence in crud at speed, but both have excellent edge grip and are easy to bend into pretty much any turn shape you need. Neither are particularly stiff longetudinally. The Nrgy rewards a skier with a more tip to tail turn preference is about all I can figure. If weight's a consideration, the Nrgy is the ticket. If a bit more crud at speed is your thing, then the Enforcer. Again, they're both excellent skis IMHO. I'm always a big fan of 'if you ski it and really dig it, stop looking and buy it'.
