Last evening I was watching a "history" video about Ben Franklin.

As the story went, while in France arranging for support and weapons to aid the revolution of the colonies against the Brits, A young woman boldly came forward and offered the idea of spending an intimate summer night.
An aged Franklin, who was known for his "appreciation" of the fairer gender replied, "Perhaps we should wait for winter, for then the nights will be longer."

I believe Franklin should have liked all types of winter activities.
