Looks like I am doing my first patrol tag-a-long this Sunday. I expect I will have to spend about 1/3 of the time patrolling, leaving me lots of time to free ski. If anyone is up there let me know and I will make some runs with you.

I might be able to make it. I'll call you.

Congratulations on your patrolling duties.

I'm Planning to head to Timberline Sunday. I should be kind of hard to miss. Well I won't be wearing neon. However, I'll be in Raichle Flexon boots,on Fischer skis, either Sceneo 500's (silver gray) or Fischer RC4 RC's (Yellow and Black)and probably wearing a green/blue/stone colored jacket and stone or blue pants.

I'll be in gray pants, Saffron boots and, at some point, will be wearing a bright yellow vest. Will be skiing red atomics. If it starts getting hot, just look for the "Bad Rat" tee shirt.

Hope some of you will be there in July when I get there. 7/6 to 7/19

I'll be head'in up to T-line w/ a few hillrodders sometime in June or July for a quicky. The glacier looks like it has a good snowpack. It was 88 degrees at Gov. Camp this afternoon.

Hey, Baddog. My birthday is the 8th. Can you make a few turns for me? Don't forget to tell me how good it was when you get back.

I am so sorry I can't make it. well... I could if I didn't have this keen insterest in self-preservation. Still a lot of stuff to do around the house here. If I went skiing today I wouldn't live past 6 PM most likely. hehehe I should have checked this thread earlier. I could have whined enough to be able to go, but with such short notice the wife I'm sure wouldn't go for it. So in the interest of domestic tranquility I had better stay put today. Growl and bark at the hill for me.

Saffron boots?

It's my wife Sue's B day today as well.
We just had lunch at Mi Tiarra's Mexican Resturant in Chicago and she's passed out on Margaritas right now. I'm killing time on her computor and waiting for her to come to so that we can go to a graduation party here, then back to Dairy Air.
Happy Birthday. Hope someone made some turns for you.
Whenever someone asks me that I come back after and say: "I made some turns for you but, YOU fell down".

What a nice day! The snow was good till almost noon. Ok, the bottom got gummy before that but still a real nice day. The only downside was the constant wind.

SLATZ, I will try to schedule a patrol day during early July. Are you still with the Gilboa? Or was it someone else?

Bill, you did great. You only fell once in a somewhat sloppy zipper line that was 250 cm while skiing 190 cm skis. You got some comments at the bottom about your nice style in the slop on the Mile at the end of the day.

The big plus for me was the torn calf seems to be in full remission and feeling good. I was a bit out of shape for skiing but I have all summer to get back on that horse.

When I know my summer patrol days I will post them. Till then have fun and ski hard, even if it is water skiing.

Thanks just saw this. Sounds like your wife had a great celebration for her birthday. Hope she's recovered from the Margaritas.
Nobody saw that fall I hope. Damn I hate it when that happens. Glad to hear the calf is healing up and you had a good day.
