Should have been deeper snow.
Should take the picture with the sun behind the photographer and not the subject.
Wear brighter clothing.
Use the zoom.
Photoshop the rogue skier out on the left
Need I go on?
The photographer is limited with the subject.
Skis are OK but obviously has the wrong lens in the goggles...look how dark the pictures are.
Ya' know it could have been better if we had better wax for that one lap.....
OMG, there's actually a story there!!!! @HippieFlippinNM was doing a flip and this weird dude wouldn't get out of the line even though we asked him nicely several times. He claimed he was "hiking up" the mountain.... umm not... @segbrown can crop him.
no! He wasn't skinning, does he look like a dude who is skinning? He also had a very Eastern block type accent which just added to the whole scheme of things.......
Surfy: Lots implied it, nobody said it: In addition to being wide, and rocker helps, surfy skis are less than stiff. Moment Underworld: Surfy. Line Supernatural 92: Not so surfy. Obviously you need soft snow too. Where I really get that surfy sensation is late spring conditions where the snow will really pile up, almost like the wake off of a waterski. Somebody said something about having to release the whole ski at once. That's surfy.
You know, I wouldn't stand around slack-jawed and gaping, but I've muttered the same expletive of admiration from time to time when I witness another skier with impressive skills. In all seriousness, you ought to appreciate the admiration, not show contempt for it.
