As of 7:30 Wednesday, there are 10 people who have said they are coming to dinner.
Chris, my friend at the Warren House, suggests that with that number we'd be better off ordering from the regular menu instead of having a special menu. That will offer us more choices and, if cost is a concern, it should be possible to do it for a little less than the $29 you have already paid (if you're careful
So here's what I've done: We have a plain old reservation for between 10 and 15 people (in case a few of the others who show up want to join us). For those of you who have already paid up front I will bring $29 in cash for each of you to dinner and we can settle up with Chris as a group. Other details (e.g., cocktails at 5, dinner at 6:30 sharp) remain the same.
Only one person expressed interest in a bulk discount lift ticket buy (and he wound up buying his from KeeTov), so that deal is off the table.
On another topic, who is familiar with Sugarbush and what kind of trails are you comfortable with? I work at Sugarbush and I am very familiar with both mountains. If there is interest, I can offer a couple of mountain tours--either on trails or off-piste, or maybe one of each--on Saturday and Sunday afternoons (unfortunately, one of my colleagues cannot come up this weekend and I need to cover her group on both mornings). Interested? Let me know.
See you all soon,
PS- There ARE more than 10 folks coming to the Gathering, but they can't all come to dinner.
