Oregon Bears, thanks for a fun ski day. Weather with holding Any of you get over to Bachy let me know and well make some turns. It was a typical T-line Glue-Snow conditions. I don't think they make a wax for that. Ok so I'm not in the 97% club. Happy Mothers Day.

Holy-Moly what a great day but for Mt Hood weather. Great skiing in the AM, incredible people to ski with, everyone. (Good Gwad I sound like Tiny Tim! ) We eventually ended up with all eleven of us together. Everyone skied great, even in the sticky stuff. Fine skiers, fine people to be with. Ryel and his wife (embarrassed her name slips my mind at this moment, mea culpa) are both excellent skiers, Slider reminded me of a few things and wouldn't let me off the hook getting onto that inside ski a bit sooner in the turn.... thanx coach! Bong is a great guy, wonderful skier. We talked a lot. Now I am truly green with envy for Colorado. Bad Rat... ya shoulda been there. It was a wonderful time.

I had some paste wax in a small can which would have taken care of the stickyness for a run or two and I would have shared with everyone but for one thing.... I left it in the car! Well, that's a junkyarddog for ya.

There's gotta be a next time very soon. Bob

Cal- If I were better set up I'd do it for ya, but we're still messing with our new location for our website. Check in with Slider. He is very good at this. Good skiing with you. Very fine skier as all were, and the weather really tested us! :

Putzing around on this board...when do we meet there? Ever been to Alameda Brewpub? I'm a couple of blocks away, now.
Last time The Bears had a gathering at Meadows with some new snow it was overheard that a few of them poached the Fun Zone.

Boy! some weekends are just too much work. Wednesday evening works for me but Thursday is all loaded up. What's good for you all?

I can meet this Wednesday, anywhere. I you want to try the Alameda, I can give you a tour of the house, even though it's not finished. I suppose I can do a housewarming beerfest at that time. I think that Rogue has Mr. Tragedy (Trivia) on Wed., so let's avoid going there. We never did go to Widmer last season.

Alameda is good for me, what time is good for you?

Anyone up for beer next week?
Yeah, I'm up for it.

Can't make it tomorrow or Wednesday. Otherwise I'm open. Tuesday or Thursday, anyone? Almeda is fine with me.

And let's start a new thread for the 2003-2004 season. This one has gotten very, very long. Last year the snow was very, very bad. And I'd like to put all the detrius in the rearview mirror.
