Maybe everyone is looking through the wrong end of the telescope, how is USSA going to negatively effect Nastar when we should be looking forward to Nastar positively effecting USSA.
Nastar is inexpensive and open to everyone
Nastar is easily accessible, I know some area's dropped the program but there are still lots of Nastar venues
All ages can compete
You can qualify for the Finals without traveling to much
Basically no equipment rules
USSA could use Nastar as a way to promote their program to a large audience of skiers that may choose to also join their program . As a Pacesetter at our area I've always pointed out the JR programs to our Nastar regulars as a way to get more gate time in.
