This summer, I really started to get freaking good at slalom skiing (water that is). I began to wonder if this would help me on the mountain, making analogies to the edge changes and stuff. I see some people swinging their bodies and leaning into the turn like on a hard slalom cut, but is that really supposed to happen? Can training with waterskiing be really beneficial to being on the mountain? Or should I just keep the two completely separate in my mind?
