But pretty inaccurate. I had mogul runs that I intentionally jumped once or twice per run, but only recorded 3 for the whole day. And tree runs that I has almost no air yet it recorded 22 seconds of it.

 

Instead of just the app, they have a device that sticks on your ski which is much more accurate. Your smartphone isn't affixed to your ski or a body part.

 

At WC in Beaver Creek, they synched up GoPro and Trace on a forerunner.

I'm a geekette so I love finding out about new technologies. Although, not something I'd spend the money on to buy. Phone will work well enough for what I want.

Me too. But I'd imagine for racing as in video since you get only a few runs of a minute each, it's nice to gather as much data as possible.
