Mt. Hood summer skiing questions

Thread Starter

Myself and a couple friends are thinking about doing a summer mogul camp at Hood.  Here's the deal, we're old farts (50s and 60s), but still have good knees and enjoy the bumps and this sounded like a cool bucket list kind of thing to do.

Patrick Deneen has a camp and they're offering three days in mid June for $600ish.  I called the gal running it and she assured me that old dudes were welcome, but I'm wondering how we'd really fit in with 16 year old freestylers...

Anyway, does anyone know anything about this camp and have any advice or recommendations?

Also, evidently they moved the dates up this year due to the lack of snow.  Would this indicate that the conditions may likely be so poor as to not make it worth it?

Thanks for any help.

If I was going to take a clinic @ Hood this year it would be sooner the better. Before June is over. Not much snowpack on Palmer. 70" base right now.
