I just added these skis to my collection and wonder if anyone knows anything about them. Blizzard is a seldom seen or discussed brand on the internet. AppleMark

You're obviously pretty new here.

Ok that was a poor choice of words. I searched a lot of threads on this site and the internet about this model couldn't find anything. Yes people mention and talk about blizzards on this site, but not with much detail as some other ski brands. Also compared to vastness of the internet this forum site is nothing and probably the only place that you will find any info on Blizzard skis on the internet.

Yes, the internet is pretty big, the only place you will find discussion on Blizzard ski is on ski forums which there are maybe 10-15 significant ones world wide. But I would say Blizzard is discussed as much as any manufacturer.

Regardless can someone tell me about this mode. Please don't comment if you are not going to give me usable information. Thank you.

IIRC these are from around 1975-76.   That top sheet design started in 72-73 with the first Blizzard firebird race ski (it was in orange with blue)

I somehow think that should read "Compact"  - IIRC Blizzard used to put the category name in the middle, not the model.

And the shortness and ellipsoid tips totally fit the compact ski category.     Later Blizzard compacts were called 'Secura'  but I don't remember what the previous generation was called.
