Wanted: winter cycling cap

Must have a brim.

Must have ear flaps.

Must be winter-built, not just a slightly modified summer cap.

Must come in a size that will fit a 62cm head.

One-fits-most will not work.    If you wear a size XL Atomic, Leedom, Jofa or Giro ski helmet I would like to hear from you.   POC, Boeri, Briko ski helmet wearers - sorry but your heads are just too different to be useful.

Tried so far:  Rapha - not wintery enough, too small
Assos - this is nicely built but too small in size medium, and even in size large it makes me look like I'm trying to dress for a russian space mission.

Anyone?  I can't seem to find a Giro Winter, Castelli Risvolto, Showers Pass anywhere locally.    I'd order a Walz but it needs to fit.

Yes, like that one.    Do you wear one and do you by chance wear a size XL ski helmet in one of the brands I mentioned?

It's going under a cycle helmet-  for cycling and skating, and getting worn on its own when XC skiing.     Need a brim to keep freezing rain and schmutz off the eye shields.

For some reason, though I'm fine skiing when it's ten, I can't stand road cycling when it's less than about sixty. MTB in the fifties is okay. You think it's 'cause I have the wrong hat? wink.gif
