What happens when an  ex-IAF veteran along with another ex-military geek from Rafael Advanced Defense Systems take Helmet Mounted Display fighter pilot technology and apply it to ski goggles?   http://www.rideonvision.com/

Yeah man, I'd pay $600 just to play the game.....

Hey, I just won another free pair of skis, but that doesn't mean there is $599 burning a hole in my pocket.  That "follow me" map feature, preventing people from getting lost or just skiing the wrong way to a lodge, would be of interest if cost were no object.

They do look intriguing to me, def have a nugget of brain dedicated to gadgets and gizmos but I think it would cross a line..... different line for different sliders...... I really dig having some groovy tunes in my helmet while I shred or cruise...or flail... and easily integrate the sounds into the experience but lots of peeps here feel they'd rather keep the experience pure and unencumbered.

I think the constant data in my eyes might get to be cumbersome.

Lessee, I didn't need it before it existed. It's full of technology (i.e. Stuff That Can Go Wrong). It's expensive. I also think having the data flashing around would be distracting.

Nope. Don't want it.
