Hi,

this year I demoed a pair of Volkl Vwerks, and I really liked.

I'm interested in buy them.

My question is about your experiences with the 2 models (rtm/code) and the difference of them in real utilization.

Also if is another similar ski in the category. A real good one to recommend.

What I like:

I ski mostly in piste in a normal day, all kind of piste, from blue to black.. bumps one a or 2 a day. I kike to go faaaast.

I'm 46, 6" and 160lb.

Thanks

Chris

I skied the Vwerks Katana this year and it's become my favorite ski which I've ever used and my one ski travel quiver.  It would not be my first choice if I mainly did on-piste but I'm 80% off and 20% on.  I'm not a carver but I do like to go as fast as I can on piste.  I can hit 125+kmph on them with no issues.  The only place I think they don't perform well is in big moguls or ice.  Luckily I've not had the chance to try them on boiler plate but my guess would be that they would not be at home.  This ski is really an anomaly.  Given it's dimensions it should not be as good as it is and I believe a real game changer.  Go for it!

I'm 45, 6'1", 220lbs and ski the 191cm.

Thank you very much for this opinion!

I will try to demo them.
