Not when it looks like a huge hole in the snow looking up from below. That's assuming the fat rider gets them on edge.
Well if they were those bright neon bases i guess we'd go blind.

If they ask, don't tell.

Slimming black bottoms:

Non-slimming black bottoms:

Anyone else have any pics of black bottoms they'd like to post?

But seriously, what's the third reverse?  I've got a pair of reverse-reverse that I haven't even mounted up yet.....and now they're obsolete!

Hey, wait, vertical stripes are supposed to be slimming!     Or did I mis-remember that (as usual) :D

I shoulda figured.

My Mavens sure feel like they have convex bases.  In fact that's why @roundturns sold 'em to me.

You could always run them through a slack belt sander.;)

Praxis Skis head honcho Keith O'Meara ordered up some fluffy pow for some further testing of the new Powderboards 3D base. The outcome: well, it's good... just see for yourself.

But I have the H-Bomb concept. We can drop the big one, annihilate entire website competitors with this innovative approach to skiing. (drumroll) this

Think about it: No more weary threads on whether wide is wide enough, or long is long enough, or how much float we want. No more debates about carving either; these suckers don't need no stupid carving. Real men and women paddleboard though trees. And the prices for a board on each foot are comparable to a pair of Stocklis, but no worries about bindings, and the poles are adjustable. It'll take some stance adjustments, but hey, isn't that what innovation always demands?

Would work good for the slush bowl at the end of the year.  It's not new though.  Mounted water skis I mean.

If you don't think they can go demo a whitedot preacher or a line sickday and make some GS turns on fat skis
