Whistler or Mt Bachelor 2015/16

Thread Starter

Written on here a few times and I love everyone's advice or suggestions. So Thank you very much. 2013 Went to Tahoe... 2014 Went to Park City...This year I went to Breckenridge now pondering next years trip already. As for myself very average skier living in Florida so I don't get to do this enough to get better so my SkiLL range never increases that much so conditions are usually not a big deal to me either..but I am 34/35 in june and a single guy always looking to have a good time when I go on my trip so looking for a good nightlife ALWAYS...I loved Park City and Breck and curious if Whistler or Mt Bachelor..I have heard great things about both places and was wondering what you all thought of those places?

Can't wait for winter again :)

Thanks (Me at Breck at Peak 6)

Whistler/Blackcomb is where I'd go if I were you, just because of what it is. BIG. We had a great time there about 2001 Feb. break. It's about the overall experience, that's what your looking for.

Either place will do for skiing.  I think you might really like Bachelor because most of the runs are blue and skiing on a volcano is unique, though Whistler has so much terrain that you'll never run out. It's really a draw in my mind.

Nightlife is another matter.  If you are a beer snob then Bachelor is the place, hands down.  You'll not find a better place to loose yourself in suds than Bend. But if you like to party down into the wee hours Whistler is the place.

Bachelor meh. Whistler on the other hand. A real ski mountain. That's where I'd go.

After re-reading the OP, I think what he's looking for is Whistler alright, but not for the skiing.  He is focused on nightlife and Whistler has it in spades.  Intermediate skiers would enjoy either mountain.

Whistler has awesome nightlife. And great skiing.

It is also the STI capital of Canada. So download tinder, play safe, and have fun!

The Australians imported it under a limited pilot project in 2002. We've very excited for the full roll out in 2036 once all the feasibility studies are complete.
