Alternatives to gloves

Hey Guys,

just wondering if any of you can help me.

I've broken my hand and its in a hand cast (stops before the wrist), it's in the later stages of recovery and I'm going skiing tomorrow.

However I dont have any mittens large enough to fit over the cast, does anyone have any alternatives I could try?

Thanks

Larger mittens? Depending how cold it is and if you just want to stay dry, a plastic bag maybe.

I have medium sized hands, got a pair from work XL still didn't fit....I guess I thought of an oven glove I just hope they stay warm enough.

I'd wrap it with an ace bandage, cover it with some plastic and tape it with athletic tape.

Some XXL mitts are bigger than others.  I always tell them to maker my casts small.

When I have been stuck in the past, I have worn a couple of touques on the hand of the injured limb, one inside the other (it gets cold up here).

How about some LARGE stretchy wool socks?    If you do go for the oven mitt, pick a nice paisley one and snap a picture of you skiing with it to post here.
