Stowe Easter Weekend

What kind of crowds can I expect for a family trip to Stowe Apr 3 - Apr 5?

I'd say it all depends on the weather. If it's sunny I'd expect crowds of some kind, otherwise not so much. Things are really slowing down. It is Sugar Slalom weekend so parking might be tough, but most everyone will be standing around at the bottom of Spruce.

I'm thinking there will probably be a lot of ski bunnies.

Stowe had a big powder day on an Easter Sunday a few years back. I got three runs in before I started crossing tracks on every turn. Usually untracked on open trails lasts about 10 seconds.

Basically, you can have the place to yourself on Easter.

Only the most important race of the season! Hundreds of racers from U10 or so up to USST and Masters. Food, demos, sugar on snow. Just general fun times.
