My son has very large calves and hasn't been able to fit a boot this year. The foot goes in but the top clasp will not close. Does anyone have any info, suggestions or solutions? Extensions maybe?

Don't know what you call large and don't know know how big (heavy) your son is or what kind of skier he is. Junior boots generally have a lower cuff which can make life easier. Cuffs ar usually changed every two sizes on boots so squeezing him into a tight fit to prevent jumping up cuff sizes might help. Heel lifts can lift his leg up out of the cuff a bit and that might help. A boot fitter should be able to cut down a cuff and/or heat it and flare it back to make more room for the calf muscle.
