I own a small shop in Billings,mt.  I am not a 4frnt dealer, if I was, I wouldnt be after this.  Curious what you guys on epic think of this deal.  You can buy a season pass for 509.00 or add a next years 4frnt ski with your pass for a crazy deal. Here is the link for the promotion.  http://www.redlodgemountain.com/4frnt.  May be a short term good deal for 4frnt but cant help them in the brick and mortar stores!

Wow, that really is an awesome deal for what are allegedly really good skis (Hojis at least).  Anyway, you may want to stock up on bindings and try some promotion on those since I'm betting a lot of people are going to need them.  It is clearly going to cause some headwinds for you as a retailer and suck up significant demand for new skis.

This really strikes me as essentially a direct sales model (at around wholesale prices) for 4FRNTand a value added proposition for Red Lodge.  I wonder how the revenue split works?  Will Red Lodge take the first $509 and give 4FRNT the remaining $381? That is a ski they try to get $750 for normally.

I also think it will create an interesting dynamic on the hill.  A lot of people like to ski on something that not everyone else is using.  My guess is the park will be full of Switchblades next year.

The bigger issue is for the local dealer and there is one.  It appears that 4FRNT is basically stabbing them in the back by making skis available to the public at near wholesale prices.

I just demo'd  the 2016 Hojis at Solitude on Sunday , and they are incredible all mountain skis!  I would be all over this deal!!

the asking price for the ski's alone are 750.
