Replace 07 Mantra with ?

I have a pair of the red 94mm waisted Mantras in 177. What would most closely replace this? Most beloved attributes are:

damp metal ride

never chatters when I feather the ski on hard snow

a bit vague feeling in the tip - never over-initiates

when I want to lay fast arcs on hard snow it complies - always

awesome tail

perfect dimensions for all mountain and adventure skiing

just the right weight - I think a little under 9 lbs

Kastle FX94 if you want to keep that full camber feel that is still light. I will still stand by the Bonafide, the ski that is a spiritual replacement for the early generation Mantras (more so than the newer generations from Volkl).

Bonafide:

damp metal ride-CHECK

never chatters when I feather the ski on hard snow-CHECK

a bit vague feeling in the tip - never over-initiates- CHECK

when I want to lay fast arcs on hard snow it complies - always- CHECK

awesome tail- CHECK

perfect dimensions for all mountain and adventure skiing- CHECK

just the right weight - I think a little under 9 lbs- MAYBE ;)

+1 on the Bonafide as a great replacement to the old red Mantra. The Mantra was one of my favorite skis but haven't been a fan of the last few versions.  I think the Bonafide is one of the best ever for a very stable 90+ ski that is also versatile and really fun to ski.

+1 for the Bones as the Mantra replacement but damn they are both heavy....... even in the 180. As I age I find myself drifting towards lighter skis. Early 40's Mantra, mid 40's to early 50's Bones and now Sick day 95's and Rossi E88's. I still ski the Bones every so often as I do my older Mantra's (rock skis) but they make my knees sore and tire me out faster when skiing multiple consecutive days.

+1 on FX 94.

I replaced my 191-cm 2011 Mantras with the 184-cm Kastle LX92 after skiing both for a while.

Thanks for the suggestions - possibly the Kendo?

I demoed the new 2016 Mantra (177) and 2016 Bonofide (180) at Sun Valley this year.

Conditions were Springlike.

I liked them equally. I liked the 180 length for the Bone. The 177 Mantra skied short,

and I didn't have the time to ski the 184 Mantra. I liked the Mantra graphics better.

I replaced my red mantras with last year's version of bones--very happy. Mantras got significantly stiffer after the red ones, then this years got wider, full rocker, and I'm guessing softer, but I haven't skied it. The current version of the Bones is I believed unchanged except for graphics--I think next year's is changing somewhat--carbon in the tip and tail. http://www.epicski.com/t/132055/long-term-test-2016-blizzard-bonafide

I loved my Red Mantras, replaced them with the Nordica Hell & Back, which isnt made anymore, but I love these too, despite no metal, they really dont have a speed limit.

Gonna have to side with Bonafide.

However, if you find that sucker too heavy, you can always go with the lighter Kabookie (same ski, less metal).
