Ski recommendation for intermediate heavyish skier

Hi-

I just joined EpicSki to get caught up on the latest ski gear as I've been skiing my Kastle RX12's for 20 years now, yes you read that right.  I'm 55 years old 6'/210# and I consider myself a strong intermediate skier.  I live in Chicagoland and ski the local slopes about 10 times a year and have been out to Breckenridge a handful of times also.

I'm going to have more free time to get out west now and I need to get some new modern gear.  After reading through the threads here my head is spinning!  Do I stick to a narrow ski or move up to the 85-90mm range, is this considered narrow now?  I need help with identifying which skis's to consider.  After researching for a couple of weeks it seems something like the Kendo, Rossi E88, Head Rev 85 and Blizzard Brahma are my choices.  I also visited a reputable ski shop here and the salesman recommended the Rossi E88 or Kendo @ 180cm and 177cm.  Is there something else i should be looking at too?  I see myself sticking to groomers, blues and slowing down a bit but would like to venture off  with the right type of ski.

So, type of ski, width and height is what I need help with.

Your help is appreciated.

What type of terrain are you looking to ski?  Groomers, powder, trees, etc?  The terrain you are looking to ski most should drive your ski decision.

Groomers mostly but would like to try other terrain to.  I don't see tree skiing in my future but see some un-groomed trails.  My local skiing is hard-pack and mostly groomed.  Like I said I'll have more free time to ski and advance.
