skiiing conditions in Park City and/or Deer Valley

Some friends and I are going to Park City next week on business.  We would like to ski.  Many of the 9 are cautious/rookie skiers. They want to ski, but will have only 2 half days to ski.  Should they go to Park City or Deer Valley?

Welcome to EpicSki!  Have you looked at any of the webcams for Park City?  The green trails are on the lower half of the mountain. It's be pretty warm lately, so not looking that good.  When you say half day, when are you likely to make it to the base area?  Allowing for time to rent equipment, may not be worth the effort.  However, if willing to spend time with an instructor the first day then go for it.

Neither both will be sloppy low down, drive round to Brighton which will have much better conditions and has night skiing. You can ski thru till 9 pm on lit trails.
