Völkl Energy Motion

Hello!

My first post in this forum.

I am currently skiing Völkl Energy 220 (2003-2004), and despite of being very forgiving, since I am getting more skillful those ski do not bring me what I want. I have a chance to buy Völkl Energy Motion in perfect condition very cheap. I read that Völkl Energy 420 and Energy Motion are literally same ski.

What you guys can tell me about Völkl Energy Motion? Are these ski too demanding? What is the main difference between 220 and Motion?

Thanks.

Time to consider something from this decade. There are no 12-15 year old ski that will perform like a modern ski, those old Volkls have more in common with a traditional straight ski than what we are skiing now. If you must have another Volkl and you are on a budget, look at some AC30's or RTM80's as an option, I wouldn't dismiss some Blizzard Magnum 7.6 or 80's, these have some Volkl DNA in them and could be of you liking. If your boots are from the early 2000's, they very well could use an updating.

The boots are from this era :) I have a pair of Atomic M90 which I really like. Concerning ski - thanks for your suggestion.

I heard that todays ski's quality much worse than 10 years ago though....thats why I was considering to buy old Völkl

Did you hear that from the person who wants to sell you those old skis?
