Epic Ski Pass: Benefit of buying before April 12, 2015?

Thinking of buying a Tahoe Local Pass for 2015/16 -- I know, why bother with Tahoe after the past few seasons?

What's the benefit of buying before April 12, 2015?  On their website,

Quote:
Pay $49 Down Now and Lock in The Lowest Price Available Now with Six Buddy Tickets
Skiers and riders should purchase their passes for next year now.  Early prices with six discounted single-day lift tickets (or “Buddy” Tickets) to ski with friends and family are only guaranteed through April 12, 2015. Vail Resorts is making it as easy as possible for guests to lock in these prices with a $49 down payment now with the balance due in mid-September 2015.

How much are we expecting the passes to cost after April 12?  The "Buddy" tickets sound meh.

Thanks!

The deal is exactly as written.  Buddy Passes+summer access.

Cost all the way through november will likely only be $40-$60 more.  If you don't remember to buy though and you completely miss the end of Epicpass sales, you are a bit SOL.

As another note, before epic sales end; you can also call in and change your pass to the current price if your plans get bigger through the summer (in case you were thinking Epic Local or Full Epic).  You will keep your buddy passes, but your payment total will be the current price.
