@MN Powder Hound, Welcome to Epic. You have picked a great time to meet up with the Bears. Mother's Day is a grand gathering.
If you have classic ski gear, you'll find your self at home with us. :-) We dress up when the weather is right:
Of course, retro is optional. We'll party with you anyway you dress. ;-)
There has been a 5th wheel camper parked along CO 6 just East of Keystone for weeks now. You may or may not see it as you come up; I don't know how long it will be there. There is a long dirt parking area on the North side of the highway at the first EB passing lane where it is parked. There are spaces further off the road in the same location for a little more distance from the road. You can find more secluded spots for parking and camping on the Montezuma Rd (CR 5) East of Keystone. Summit County has a long standing tradition of car/tent camping in the forest; it is 90% public lands, mostly USFS. Just camp in legal places, keep your site clean, use a groover and be respectful and the authorities will not hassle you. Usually.
The bus service is only on weekends, starts in Breck, stops at Keystone and the Basin: http://www.co.summit.co.us/index.aspx?NID=586
The nearest hot springs are private, but very nice: http://hotsulphursprings.com/ It is worth a night's stay as it includes two days of soaking. It's about an hour away from Dillon.
Bring your powder skis because you appear to be arriving in the middle of a storm cycle:
Look into the Spring and/or Season pass deals. http://www.arapahoebasin.com/ABasin/tickets/season-passes/default.aspx Both let you ski the rest of the spring for one looooow price.
