Break out the boards, Hawaii skiers. The Denver TV weather gal says there will be six or more inches above 11000 feet on the big island tomorrow.

Did they end up getting any snow up there? Paging @Maui Steve

I was on the big island in August once and nearly froze -- not at sea level, obviously.

I haven't looked at their webcams, but i will tell you, that in my 30 years in Hawaii, the last week is the coldest I've ever felt it. Which I know is a relative term. But highs at sea level below 70 degrees. Highs at my house at 2500 feet near 60. While, it may sound a bit silly, it seems cold. Went out to my car a couple of mornings ago and my car thermometer said 47 degrees. Never seen it below 50, even before the sun rose. Sitting in my office right now looking at Haleakala. Clouds covering the top. Hoping they lift before i get home, so i can see if they got any snow. This would be the week. Now, if we could transport some of this cold air and precip to western USA, I would appreciate it.

Pretty crazy to hear talk of colder than norm temps in HI.  We're already hitting 90s here in AZ, a month earlier than usual.
