Fischer Motive 86 good for Utah?

Going to SnowBird this weekend.

I ski the Motive 86 here in the east.

Should i go wider (Rentals)?

No new snow it looks like so you should be fine on 86 width skis.

personally I luv my Motiv 88's for any snow depth.
 they are my travel ski.

1st trip with them was the bird/alta 2yrs ago. Conditions were extreme hard on the first day with 10-12 inchs POW by the 3rd day...

skis were great for all.

 

just got back 2 wks ago from another trip to the bird/alta - and had the same full range of conditions,

again, skis were awesome easy to turn in steep/deep, cruised well in cut-up/set-up 4-6, and held well on the early harder surfaces at the beginning of the trip.

For me, I can't imagine a better 1 ski quiver, especially for air travel trips, than my Motiv 88s... and I have 6 newer skis to choose from (2009 thru 2012 models)...
