Got one of these on Sunday...

Don't know where to put this, figured this was the place.  It's just one step on the journey, but I've been meaning to do it for years and finally did it, so feeling pretty good!

In case it isn't obvious, the 3 safety pins are an unofficial Nordic "3 pin" pin.  Tele level 2.  Had a lot of fun and got a lot of awesome feedback.  Now to start working on L3!

Congratulations!  I know how proud you must be.  Relax now  and enjoy it. The quest for L3 cranks up soon enough.

Congratulations! It feels great when all that work pay off.

Who were your examiners? Was Mickey there with Salmon, Wasa, chocolate, geitoste, caviar, and Aquavit?

Nice! Yeah I'm in there.  Was keeping an eye open for you down there.  Should have shot you a message before I headed down there, could have had a beer with you.  Oversight on my part, sorry!

Yep, skied with Mickey on Sunday.  Had the Salmon/caviar/goat cheese/chocolate concoction and Aquavit on Saturday, although that's supposed to be a secret ;)  Skied with Don Sensenig (spelling?) on Saturday.  Jay Nation (my mentor from 7 Springs) was shadowing the group both days.  He broke his elbow on Friday and skied both days without poles, in the trees and bumps!

I'm glad you had a good time. I've been to too many alpine events were the two biggest groups were...1 I haven't taught in years and just want to retain my certification, 2 Dig me.  I've given up on alpine events since around 2000 when I started to tele as its a much more relaxed supportive atmosphere,as well as much more learning focused.

I usually bring Lefsa and Krumkakke for the parties, can't help it, My moms grandparents were from Christiana, and the Telemark region.
