2016 Frontside/all-mountain ski reviews: Blizzard, Stockli, Kastle, Head, Elan - Page 3

FWIW, pretty sure the Volkl rec SL's are pretty narrow. 65 or 66? As are Laser SL's. But they're a bit much for the mission.

Vockl rec SLs are very light and lively. Sold mine a couple of yrs ago--I should've kept them. The base materials were not as durable as others though. I also demoed the Stockli Rec SLs not too long ago--they are fun skis, a tad more substantial than the Vockls but still quite forgiving.

Perhaps try the Supershape Speed or the Laser CX?

Try the RX sometime you have a carving day.

They make the MX's feel clunky!
