Buying This Year (Spring '15) vs Next Season (Fall '15)

Brand spankin' new to the forum, and wanted to throw a question out there for the group...

Here in Seattle, most of this year's skis went on deep discount today, and I'm curious if I should continue to look for the current Rossi Soul 7, or wait until next year's K2 Pinnacle line-up? Has anyone skied the Pinnacle's yet?

My two choices this year came down to the Soul 7 and Annex 118. The downside is we've been having such a crap season on the weekends here in the PNW that I have yet to demo either one, so I have no idea how they ski other than reading critic and user reviews. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and ski it if ya got it...

I appreciate the links - I've read through those and suppose I should've been a bit more clear...

My specific question pertains to the Soul 7 (which doesn't look like it'll change next year except for brighter graphics) versus the Pinnacle 118 (which sounds like it's been redesigned with the K2 IKONIC core) - which is going to be the better one-quiver ski for everything from the Cascade crud to deep pow? That's really my deciding factor. If the Soul's are the way to go, then I'll buy them now. If the 118's are the choice, then I'll have to wait until they're in local shops next season. And of course I'm still a bit leery over plunking down that kind of change for skis I've never been on before, heh.

Buy the Soul 7 now at a deep discount, ski on it for the next 6-7 weeks, demo the K2 in December.  If it is way better, sell the Rossi's and buy the K2s.  How much is the fun you have on your new skis in March & April 2015 worth?  Bet it is less than the depreciation on the Soul 7's.
