Ski apparel (jacket and pants ) for taller skinny teenager

Hi, my son needs a new jacket and pants but I'm finding everything is too wide. He's 5'11" and about 140-145 pounds. He wears a 30x32 (but getting a little short) pants and generally a large top to fit arm and back length.

Anyone have thoughts on who makes a narrower fit jacket and pants? Would like it to be technically sound but can't afford something like Arcteryx.

Thanks.

I ran into the same think with my son earlier this year.  I ended up getting a DC jacket and some North Face pants from www.the-house.com

I think they are a sponsor of this site as well.

Hope it helps

You may want to try the park and snowboard oriented apparel companies as they are selling a lot of stuff to teenagers and near teenagers with their active metabolisms.  My 6" 3" 140lb son just bought a Saga jacket.  We have had good luck with Orage also. For pants, he likes to use some of my older, horribly oversized pants from several years ago.
