On the open/closed sign at the entrance gate to the Daly Bowl/Chutes, there was something ______ Knoll?  Can someone tell me the actual name? I forgot. I hadnt heard of it before.

Im assuming its the open face past X-Files that runs down to Bandana.

Interesting, I can only find two mentions of it with a google search.

would love to hear some beta on it...must be a hike not quite worth it. Saw a few tracks on it , but not a lot.

This reply may be a bit dated but I have skiid Quincy Knoll and can answer your questions. Quincy Knoll is the face directly after X-Files, it is a somewhat lon hike (maybe an hour 30) but the hike is very well worth it. Since it is such an unknown run, Quincy Knoll is usually untraked powder. The run consists of an open powder face then goes into the trees. After you enter the trees the run gets your heart racing. There are a series of very sharp turns, one of these turns happens to be a ski tip length from a cliff dropping to a busy street. After you exit the trees the run opens back up onto Bandana. If you have about 2 hrs the run is very scenic and very fun, it is defidently worth the hike. Sorry for any typos i wrote this on my phone.
