Both of my daughters are very good skiers, but both of them tell me they pull their toes up when they ski, while I tend to push mine down. My oldest showed me how when she pulls her toes up her foot arches and makes the ball of her foot and heel protrude. I find that supporting my toes allows me to push them down to more easily keep the fronts of the skis pressured without over-reliance on the boot cuffs.
I am just curious as to how everyone else does it and how you feel your approach benefits you from doing it whichever way suits you?
