Recommendations for new tele skis

Back skiing after a 5 year hiatus. You know, wife, kids, etc. grew up in Colorado skiing everything, maybe not pretty. Started tele around 2000 and now only telemark. Live in Maine and have skied 5-6 times this year (Sunday river). Looking to retire my 2003 k2 superstinx and targa t3's and upgrade to something new. I'm 6'2", 230#, relearning tele turns on mostly blues but will occasionally flail down a double diamond alpine style. Would like something to enjoy the New England crunch, currently cruising blues but hoping to learn to make turns in the diamonds. Single ski quiver. Thanks in advance

I don't know a ton about tele skis, but I do know the big thing you have missed is the introduction of NTN bindings. Before you go looking at skis, I would decide if you want NTN or traditional 3 pin bindings.

My hardcore tele friends are anti NTN for various reasons. I also have new garmont voodoo boots so...

Tough one... At 5-6 days, it's going to be difficult to get fit enough to ski the way you want. That said, there's going to be some great deals on the Kastle FX 94 as it's being phased out this season. Nice round flex, and stiff enough that at your size and weight that you won't crush it. Mount it with one of the 22 designs Axl or similar bindings. If you could find a Nordica Hell and Back, this would also be good. New skis? Nordica Enforcer. They'll be in stores soon of they aren't already.

Don't worry. Just got my 3 and 4 year old boys skiing. Expecting that number to increase exponentially!
