Best Bootfitter in Europe? Greece prefered as local!

Hey all. Noob here. First weekend skiing completed. I am 27 and a dude. I have real slim feet and loved the slopes. I want more!

To go forward i have decided to dedicate myself and treat myself to some awesome boots! I read a forbes article about surefoot and they seem pretty well equiped for custom work. My nearest store is however in switzerland and as I am in greece i wonder if anyone can reccomend a more local but equally well reviewed boot fitter?

I appreciate any advice.. thanks smile.gif

Mod note: this thread has been moved form the AskTheBoot Guys forum because the Boot Guys are mostly North American based. They may have European contacts, but you will probably get more responses in this forum.

Hi Riki, Welcome to EpicSki!
Sorry, I don't know any good fitters in Greece, my recommendation would be to go to Chamonix and see Steven Rooke or Julian Mills.

Yeah, it might be easiest to plan a visit to the boot fitter as part of a ski trip. If you can plan a Saturday-to-Saturday ski trip in a resort with a Surefoot location, then you might be able to book an appointment in advance for that first Saturday.

That might actually work out for the best, because then you can come back to the boot fitter throughout the week if you need additional adjustments made.

Awesome guys! Thanks! All advice is really appreciated. Soon I think I will head to verbier in switzerland. However an extended weekend is about all i ever get from work. How long does it take to custom make the fittings?

for Verbier the best guys are Mountain Air, speak to either Nick or Anja  as an independent fitter i would recommend them over a big chain any day of the week, should be able to do a custom fit on the same day, definitely worth calling up ahead of time and booking an appointment

good luck getting sorted
