Mount Sunapee is certainly a very pretty mountain located about one and a half hours from Boston and sports both incredible views and excellent groomed trails.

This mountain has won numerous awards for grooming and snow over the years and is a must visit mountain if you are looking for a great family friendly mountain. It has something for everyone and what it has this year is plenty of SNOW.

With great runs, fluffy glades, quick lifts and a summit lodge with spectacular views; it is hard to ask for more.

Reasonably priced and easy to get too, we think if you make the trip here you will be pleasantly surprised.

Looked like a fun day!  I checked out Sunapee in early Dec with @T-Square .  He advised me to use the "new" lodge at the end of the parking lot.  I was intrigued to find that they have a free bag check downstairs designed to keep the clutter on the main floor to a minimum.  Wasn't that much open, but I enjoyed the view.

Definitely seems like a nice place for a family weekend.  Especially if there are beginners in the group since there is a separate beginner area.  I stayed at the Sunapee Lake Lodge. That's one of the options just a couple miles from the ski area.

Our Pico pass gives us 3 days at Sunapee. This was day 1 of two. The 2nd day was Thursday of this week and we had amazing powder. I remembered your report and it was WAY helpful too..

Today at Pico we saw this...
