Ruckys - Camera Mount Cover

Thread Starter

As you can imagine, several products come across my desk that target the ski world.  Ruckys is a kickstart for a product that I'd like to get some feedback on.

Its a cover to go over the camera mount on your helmet to protect and personalize the area where your GoPro mount stays attached to your helmet.

Thoughts?

Doesn't look like it would improve the slickness of the protuberance in a fall or cushion the impact. If anything, looks like it would interfere more with safety and be more likely to get caught on the bar as it comes down on chairs.

Looks a little odd, also everything that potentialy increases friction and torsional force on a helmet i a fall is bad.

The ideas in it self is a little cool, camera mounts are getting uncool but this looks like an uncool improvement.

Looks like an answer in search of a question.

There are giro helmets with special inserts for gopros, so when the camera is not mounted, the helmet looks exactly like a normal one

Search for giro range helmet in youtube, seems cool.
