Sent out by Copper Mountain today. It's going to be a busy weekend. Consider this in your plans.
Hello Copper Homeowner,
At approximately 1:00 p.m. this afternoon, the Union Creek Quad experienced a mechanical breakdown. Ski Patrol responded and began evacuating all affected guests quickly and safely. As of 3:40 p.m., the lift was clear of all public and Ski Patrol.
Due to the nature of the repair needed, the Union Creek Quad will be closed until further notice. Our Lift Maintenance team is working quickly to restore the lift and there is no estimated time of reopening. We recommend accessing the mountain via Center or East Village and using Kokomo and Lumberjack lifts to access West Village terrain only. If you are within the Lewis Ranch community, you can access the mountain via Kokomo and Lumberjack lifts or please take advantage of Copper’s free shuttle service to the resort’s additional lifts. For more information on Union Creek reopening, please refer to Copper’s Daily Operations Report which can be found at CopperColorado.com/snow.
We appreciate your patience as we work through this repair.
