For an intermediate progressing into an advanced skier on a Rossignol Experience 84?
I was told, and they do feel, like a 1/2. But I was thinking of giving them a stone grind on a montana and going .75/2 or even .75/3. Too sharp? Any "all mountain" downsides to keeping them so sharp besides more maintenance?
Right now the 1/2 tune is sharp, tip to tail, but a little sketchy on ice. I know there is only so much performance to squeaze out of this ski, but I'd like to give them a tune that maxes out their hard snow performance.
I am considering a sharper base bevel also since many of my drills are focusing now on ankle rolls, tipping, railroad tracks etc and I feel like I could handle something a bit more advanced than a 1 degree base.
