Yes! Favorite country plus favorite Bond. Can't wait.

Looks like budget cuts have nixed Austria. An extremely reliable source points to New Hampshire instead:

Budget cuts?  No not even, they have the best deal that there is going for that series.

Finding money for it will never be a problem................... Ever!

They probably have shot all of the Austria scenes and are now into the next location.

Someone made an assumption... LOL

You do realize The Onion is a satirical rag, right? The "extremely reliable" was a joke.

sibhusky, same could be said for Fox "news", the difference being that one of them is supposed to be satirical.

skimalibu, I don't want to make you too envious, but I was at the cast & crew screening of Quantum of Solace the week before it was released and I was at the premiere of Skyfall in the Royal Albert Hall.

While agreeing with that, not sure how it's a related topic?

Nah I know what a gathering of mindless narcissists those "events" are. I just like the films.

Something for the self loathing crowd for sure...

sibhusky, not related at all, just how my mind was working at the time!

To be fair and balanced, we are going to steer this thread away from political commentary and guide it back to commenting on the fine job The Onion has done on striking a nerve. And from there I for one am eagerly awaiting some skiing scenes from Solden, ja?

The cast and crew screening of QoS wasn't that narcissistic. It was held at 11am on a Sunday morning, no red carpet, no press, no dressing up, the only differences to a normal trip to the cinema were: 1. No adverts before the film. 2. Marc Forster walked on at the start and said thank you to everyone for their work on the film. (the speech took about a minute).
Skyfall was a full on red carpet event, but it was very enjoyable.
(I didn't pay for tickets to either event, for the QoS screening you couldn't buy tickets anyway)

Daniel Craig reportedly suffered a nasty bump on the head while filming a James Bond car chase in Rome, Italy this week. The 007 star was filming scenes for new movie Spectre in the Italian capital on Monday night when he was injured while travelling in an Aston Martin car, which was being driven by a stuntman.

Repubblica.it reports Craig banged his head on the car's interior during a chase scene and was treated by a doctor on set, but later given the all clear to continue work.

The news comes just weeks after Craig sustained a knee injury while filming Spectre scenes in Austria, and assistant director Terry Madden suffered multiple leg fractures when a runaway camera truck crashed into a barn.

That was worthless... several minutes wasted and not a single ski to be seen! If I wanted regular movie footage, I'd be hanging out on EpicFilm.com's Growling Goats forums! Bring on the skiing scenes, or NOTHING!!

:D

Seriously though... thanks - it looks very cool. Hopefully it's as good as Skyfall!
