Verbier’s famous Swedish Instructor Jonas Sundstedt, director of the Alps’ only Swedish Ski School ESSE Verbier, once said, “the best skier is the one who has the most fun” – what more do we need?

...

It might do many instructors some good to remember this quote, however a more technical analysis should probably be attempted; this is our aim.

A technical analysis of fun? No, the article just ignores the advice.from Jonas. That said the two gems in there match closely to 2 of the new fundamentals from PSIA: let the legs turn underneath the upper body and control the center of mass relative to the base of support.

Nice video.

That is a nice little video... for an intermediate who's had a couple of lessons this year, it really shows good examples of something I've been working on.

And one of the main reasons I've been taking lessons is to learn to be more efficient - get rid of the backseat quad burn and be able to do longer runs without stopping. So I can definitely relate to the article - being able to do longer runs this season had been a lot more fun. :)

I'd give it an A+.
