Bonafides 180

Hi guys, this has probably been asked before, but im debating between the 180cm or 187cm Bones. Im 6ft 190lbs and a pretty good skier who likes to ski all the mountain. I feel the 187 will be more stable at higher speeds but the 180's will be more maneuverable and easy to handle in general. Do you think I would even notice much difference between the two? Thanks!

You are probably better off with the 180cm unless maximum stability at speed is your number one priority. The 180 is plenty stable at very high speeds and much more nimble everywhere.

I owned the 180 and skied the 187 twice.  I like both lengths.  I'm 5'10" 170lbs.

The best way to describe the dilemma for me is the 180 felt short to me in soft snow and fine on groomers, like Whiteroom says, plenty stable.  The 187 felt long-ish on groomers and just right in the powder.

Yes you would. You answered your own question, now you have to decide.

Thanks for the reply guys. I think with alpine skiing and roughy split 60/40 groomers and off piste, the 180s should be a decent choice. Cheers again
