Steering Exercises

Last year, I discovered from a lesson with Todd that I do not edge my skis simultaneously. I suspect this may have to do with the various accidents I've had as a kid, all involving my right leg. My right side balance is not wonderful.
So I did some work on that.

This year, at Okemo, I found out that I don't steer my skis simultaneously. AS a result, it sometimes looks as if I'm skiing in a wedge, even though I have not consciously pushed my heels out. My instructor Sharon sugested I work on some steering exercises.

So, I took out my 2 rotating disks, which work pretty much like Bob Barnes "barstool' exercise. Then yesterday, I found a pair of these disks that were made fo home fitness. They have sort of a bubble top which is similar to the bottom of a dyna disk. And lo an behold, the dyna disk balances on top of the rotating disk. Needless to say, I've been having some fun!

You are starting to infringe on my "fringe" exercises. Did I read correctly??

Did you successfully combine TWO DIFFERENT training tools into one super efficient one??

.... I like the crowd. Welcome aboard!!!

Actually, the only reason it worked is because the "bubbles" of one fit into the "bubbles" of the other!
