Dangerous stuff that dumb people do on the slope

Toilet Bowl is an unnamed tree gully at Breck. Since it's a gully, there's a pretty obvious route that you get funneled into unless you're more adventurous/familiar and are willing to ski the higher routes on the left and right. So I see a guy standing just outside where the little bowl ends and the trees start, and then I see he's done with whatever he's been doing and is skiing. Great. Get one turn into the tighter trees and see him standing *right in the middle of the main line* fiddling with his phone!! This is kind of like standing in a slalom course, if slalom courses were typically blocked by trees so that you couldn't see the next turn.

I told him that wasn't a great place to hang out. He looked at me with complete non-comprehension. Sigh. I just skied on.

Looks to me like it's named.

Stupidest thing I ever saw was someone wearing soft boots strap both feet into one board while facing the wrong way. Kidding! I snowboard too.

I can't recall seeing much stupid stuff happen on the slopes. Then again, I don't typically venture to the terrain parks.

Last April I saw myself pay $140 to ski a day at Breck.  That was pretty stupid.

One of my friends was trying to show me how to ski backward on a nearly flat section as we headed back to the lift. He was describing what to do and he skied backward right over the edge of about a 10 foot drop into the trees, with me and two other friends watching.

We stifled our laughs until we made sure he was OK - we had all expected him to turn or stop!

Nothing says stupid like standing cross ways on a single cat track. Maybe I should pull off the Interstate before stopping.
