And don't be afraid of length, even to the 183 if they have it. That's the point of these skis to enable length without being difficult to ski or punishing the way a longer fully cambered ski can be.

Good stuff. I had already swapped out to the Soul Riders this morning. Soooo much better. I really wish I had started there since we've had powder every day I've been here. Would have really served me well for my lesson at Highlands yesterday but I had a blast there anyway.

Sounds like you timed things perfectly, I'm hoping things don't get too warm soon, we'll be out there on Friday.

I'm no expert but I think you'll be just fine. I see that officially Snowmass has gotten 43" in the past 6 days! The locals have been telling me that it was still skiing great in mid February with much warmer temps and hardly any snow. I'm sure you're going to have a blast here. Unfortunately Friday is my last ski day before heading home.

Mountains are skiing amazing. Yesterday's 11 inches was epic. As for the ops question, I would steal him towards the brahma and lx82. Personally I would buy a brahma and think it's accessible for intermediate and up.

A couple of others things you may want to consider. I turned in my skis for my day off and you have to repeat the whole rental process over from scratch when you go back to get them. Took about 30 minutes. May or may not be worth the extra $ to keep them through any off days you have planned.

Also there is a nice locker room across from the base village four mountain sports. Enter at the restroom sign right beside Sotheby's. It's also close to the gondola and overnight storage. I think I saw a locker room at the mall below Venga Venga restaurant but I have not used it.

Conditions are still great BTW.

Enjoy the snow!

First come first serve only. I checked this morning.
