2014 K2 Sidestash vs 2010 K2 obsethed

Allo,

I'm 5'9'' 165 advanced-expert skier. East Coast. I already have a 180 Blizzard Bushwacker. I would like to replace my 2010 K2 Obsethed. The Obsethed in now very soft +-70 days on it.

At first, I would like an Atomic automatic 109 but found a really good deal on 2013 181 new Sidestash @ 299$. How the sidestash compare to Atomic and Obsetehd ? I would like +-105/110 underfoot.

I have not skied those other skis.  However I have skied many days on a Sidestash.  Rather different design than those others.  Long front rocker, gentle sidecut, and a very solid flat tail.  So it will ski like a big fat traditional metal layered ski in the back, with a long front tip that happily rides up and over crud instead of spearing it.  The Sidestash excels in crud and powder, but the long front feels a bit disconnected on hard snow (probably because it is!).

The real question is: do you want a stiff solid traditional tail?  Or rocker in the back?
