Comparable boot to Tecnica 120 HVL ?

Visited my local ski shop and obtained a fitting.  Was directed to Tecnica 120 HVL's due in large part to the width of my feet.  Was told my options were limited (in their store) to the Tecnica's and a Nordica I also tried on.  I don't have the model of the Nordica but immediately did not like them as there was far too much flex.    I know Tecnica replaced their Phoenix HVL's with this current model but can somebody tell me if there are other comparable (flex & last) models within the past few years to look at.

the technica is 104mm and 120 flex (seems softer then that)

just about all compaies make something like that.

but if you liked the technica, why not get that?

Wide foot doesn't necessarily mean high volume foot.  Most HVL boots are very high in the instep area and wide in the ankle.  If that isn't you, find a boot that fits everywhere else well and have a good shop stretch the forefoot.
