52nd Hokkaido Technical Skiing Championship

Hi Everyone,

 

I thought some people might be interested in my recent experience at the 52nd Hokkaido Technical Skiing Championship held on 30Jan - 1 Feb 2015 in Rusutsu, Japan. It was an incredible experience and I can't wait to participate again next season!!

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the videos.  Thanks for sharing them.  Paul Lorenz is way up on my list of great skiers.

The SAJ machine! Had a friend on the J nat'l demo team long ago... It's really a kooky, interesting, variant of the ski world. Kudos to you for jumping in!

Believe me, it wouldn't fly here. It's a pretty crazy variant of the ski world. Trouble there is while friends were training, we were off skiing thigh and waist deep powder. smile.gif

Really interesting that they're using 35m FIS GS skis. Wonder if they'll show up at interski with them.
