47 years old, 5'10" 190, somewhat aggressive, like to ski bumps and glades.
Ski in Colorado anywhere from 10 - 20 days a year.
Current skis, Nordica Enforcers with Marker Duke bindings in 177cm.
I love the Nordicas for almost every terrain. Have skied them exclusively for three years now. Skiing in Colorado I get spoiled with good snow and rarely have to deal with ice or hard pack. I recently spent ten days skiing Vail, BC, A-Basin,and Keystone where the conditions are less than optimal for this time of year. So I spent a lot of time on the groomers and realized the Enforcers are not the best option for spending all day on the groomers, especially steep groomers at higher speeds. I like to make longer turns, not shorter ones, so am not looking for a slalom type ski.
My previous skis before the enforcers were Rossignol B2's in 180 something. The only real hard snow skis I have owned were a set of SX:10's from about ten years ago. They bent so I tossed them.
I ready to move to a two ski quiver and am looking for recommendations on skis to demo or consider. Price is somewhat important as I am not interested in spending $1,300 on skis that will be used sporadically. I was thinking the $400 - $700 range. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
